| men's club St. Cecilia Men’s Club primary ambition is to raise funds to help provide support for CYO programs. The Men’s Club was formed over 20 years ago by members of St. Cecilia Parish to help support our youth in CYO sports both economically and providing coaching through volunteering countless hours of time for our youth. The Men’s Club raises funds through five yearly fundraisers. The jog-a-thon starts things off in October followed by the Men’s Club breakfast and Christmas Tree sale in December. Mother’s Day brings the annual plant sale and Mother’s Day brunch. St. Cecilia is the only parish in the Portland Archdiocese that does not charge their children to participate in CYO sports. This is because of the effort of everyone in the Men’s Club and because of your continued support on our fundraisers. Other parishes charge between $60 - $75 per sport, per child. Our actual expenses for the 2003-04 school year was $20,000+. The Men’s Club meets the first Tuesday of every month during the school year (September - May) at 6:30pm in the Parish center. Bring something to BBQ for dinner and the meeting follows around 7:15pm. Newcomers are always welcome. Come and join the fun!!! Interested in finding out more about the Men's club.
