| Lectors |
This ministry consists of men and women who proclaim the Word of God at
weekend and Holy Day Masses. This ministry requires preparation
through prayer, an understanding of the scriptural text, and an ability to
read clearly with appropriate pronunciation and emphasis. The Word
should be proclaimed with humility and reverence so that the Holy Spirit
will speak through you. A commitment to the training and lector
schedule requirements of this ministry is necessary. |
